Eco Adventure Break

Dolphins at Fortrose, View towards Fort George

The northern Highlands are blessed with not only fantastic landscape but also a bounty of wildlife. The challenge is often knowing where to look to see it. With such a vast unspoilt wilderness the wildlife knows where to hide. So it often takes a professional guide to assist us.

Adventure starts in a peaceful village of Cromarty on the Black IsleInclusive in your eco break is a complimentary wildlife watch boat trip.

Wildlife Watch - Duration approx 2 hours
An exhilarating boat trip to view the best of what the Moray Firth has to offer. After a short introduction, board a high speed RIB heading out into the Inner Moray Firth where, we hope, you will encounter the resident colony of Bottlenose Dolphins. Also look out for Harbour Porpoise, Common and Grey Seals and the occasional Minke Whale. Cruising around the base of the spectacular cliff coastline, you'll be able to view up close the bird colony set amongst the imposing war fortifications before we head further out to sea.
Loch Broom, 45 minutes drive from Coul
An informative commentary is given throughout with refreshments provided.

This trip is extremely popular and is weather reliant, so please plan ahead. A credit will be given if the weather deems the trip un-sailable during the stay.
